Artist Statement

As an artist, I show reality through the lens of imagination in my work. In my art, I always express everyday activities and ordinary objects in a way that comes off unexpected to others.I tend to look for sophistication in simple images leaving space for intrigue. Usually the story behind is not what it appears to be. To create my works I often use trivial materials and elements of surrealism and minimalism. Color, photography, and digital manipulation serve as helping tools for telling surprising visual stories.
